実験装置の利用状況に関わる情報を提供し、利用者の行動変容を促すナッジ理論を用いたエネルギー利用の合理化に関する研究を行っています。また、利用者の行動に加えて、空調設備などの施設設備を自動制御することで省エネルギーに貢献する研究も進めています。さらに、単なる省エネだけでなく、空調設備を制御することで得られる電力を調整力として供出することを目指した研究にも取り組んでいます。

We conduct research on energy efficiency by using nudging techniques to encourage behavioral changes in users through providing information related to the usage of experimental equipment. In addition to user-driven energy savings, we are also investigating technologies that contribute to energy efficiency by automatically controlling building facilities, including HVAC systems. Moreover, we are exploring ways to not only achieve energy savings but also leverage electricity controlled through HVAC systems as demand response capacity.
